Job Overview

Regional music company is seeking an excellent, smart, well organized individual to join our Accounting Department.


Responsibilities

  1. Lead the accounting team in handling full set of accounts for group companies;
  2. Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliation;
  3. Prepare and review quarterly management accounts;
  4. Review accounts payable and accounts receivable;
  5. Handle payroll, commission and royalty calculations;
  6. Participate in the preparation of financial data, analyzing for reporting, forecast and business operation;
  7. Work with external auditors in relation to annual audits in the UK, Singapore, USA, Philippines and HK;
  8. Ensure the compliance related to corporation tax, withholding tax and other taxes, statutory requirements with high integrity, accuracy and timeless;
  9. Manage the accounting team of Hong Kong and Philippines office;
  10. Ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with corporate policies and procedures;
  11. Review / implement proper internal workflow, control, and internal audit


Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance or CPA related disciplines;
  • Min. 5 years of audit accounting experience and/or solid accounting experience in trading or manufacturing industry in group companies and at managerial role;
  • Well-versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related legislation;
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Mature, self-motivated, detail-minded and strong problem-solving skills, committed team player and confident in handling multi-task;
  • Proactive, able to meet tight timelines, work independently and under pressure;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese;
  • Proficient in MS Office especially Excel, PeachTree, Outlook.
