We are looking for a visionary AI Rigging Lead Engineer to drive our product development and bring our ideas to life.

Job Summary

As the AI Rigging Lead Engineer, your research will play a crucial role in both decision-making and product development. Your expertise will guide the strategic direction of 3D integration and modelling to efficiently produce high-quality, game-ready 3D voxel art models. Additionally, you will assist the Lead Developer in the UI/UX design, development and deployment of our public application.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Leadership:

  • Evaluate and choose the optimal 3D stack for developing our product to ensure scalability, maintainability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Research and identify the most effective 3D models and integration suitable for converting image to voxel art style 3D models
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and be ready to implement them to give us a competitive edge.

• 3D Development:

  • Taking a 2D object and environment concepts into 3D game assets
  • Delivering high- and low-poly 3D models for web platforms
  • Creating basic object and particle animations that demonstrate an understanding of weight, balance and form
  • Working on realistic lighting and rendering
  • Engaging in technical problem-solving efforts

Qualifications

• Proven academic (undergraduate or masters degree) or equivalent training or work experience in 3D design and animation
• Experience in creating 3D assets and visual effects
• A keen eye for color, light, shade, form
• Detail in creating texture maps and different material types
• Strong knowledge of 3D, design and animation tools and technologies (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3DS Max etc.)
• Experience in creating realistic lighting and rendering
• Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, plan and organize work activities, analyse the information, and manage work time efficiently
