Job Overview

Smart Cash AG  is looking for a full-time Supply Chain Specialist to work in Hong Kong. The Candidate will report to the Managing Director and Senior Sales Executive.

Smart Cash offers an entrepreneurial, multinational diverse culture where the Candidate interacts with senior management and ensures the performance of a supply chain from order to shipment to billing and customer service, tracks inventory and orders and forecasts future supply needs. Successful candidates will possess proven work experience in related areas, excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, very good degree academic background and creativity and imagination to resolve complex situations. Other required qualifications are a strong work ethic, a positive and collaborative “can-do” attitude, clear and concise communication skills, and the desire to take initiative and be the best at what he/she does.

General requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in supply chain and logistics
  • Experience with importation and customs brokerage
  • Experience in using Easyship and Shopify
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrating experience reducing cost or improving efficiency in previous jobs
  • Possessing experience in the customer-facing position
  • General knowledge of ERP systems

Main responsibilities

Day-to-day activities:

  • Check and fulfill orders in Shopify (every morning Mon-Sat)

Broad tasks:

  • Coordinate with the rest of the team
  • Report on competed logistics tasks weekly (each Monday)
  • Report on warehouse stock weekly (each Monday)

Functional tasks:

  • Provide operational and production team with sound recommendations on logistics and supply chain management
  • Develop optimal supply routes in terms of costs and delivery times
  • Research costs and services of express/general mail companies on a regular basis, use the most optimal shipping providers
  • Ensure safe storage of goods
  • Organize the processing and shipment of orders, ensuring their safety and timely delivery to the end customers
  • Provide shipping companies with the accompanying documents to the orders
  • Keep records on sending/delivery of orders, compile reports as agreed above
  • Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
  • Provide other operational support for the team

  • Perform any of the duties in the warehousing and distribution areas
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Language skill set

  • Excellent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese.
