Job Overview
To translate documents from English to Chinese and vice versa
To manage a translation team
To proofread all typeset documents in English and Chinese
Reviewing all clients’ documents such as Annual Reports, Circulars, Notices, IPO prospectus, Announcements, legal documents, etc.
To work closely with Account Servicing and Operation team to ensure the best quality documents are completed and delivered to the clients in an accurate and timely manner
Requirements:
Degree or above in Translation Studies or a Member of The Chartered Institute of Linguists
Relevant experiences in team building and management
Candidates with legal firm or financial translation house experiences would be an advantage
Relevant experiences in translating financial documents, Annual Reports, Circulars, Notices, Announcements, IPO Prospectus, Contracts, etc.
Experience in bulk-printing is definitely an advantage
Excellent command of written English and Chinese
Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and tight deadline
Meticulous, efficient and able to proofread handwritings and computer printouts accurately
Sound knowledge in PC applications including Excel, Word and Chinese Word processing
Shift duty is required
Candidates with less experience would be considered as SenorTranslator/Translator
